being honest

I'm usually keep my mouth shut but in this situation I was in this guy, I had to say something before it got out of hand. I went out with friends and met this guy and we danced, that's all I did with him , he called me the next evening and just talked on the phone, well he thought that our relationship was more than being friends. Anyways a week went by, went dancing and met up with my frineds and he told his friends I was his girlfriend, and boy I let him have it, and I was going to do it in a nice way for I'm a really nice girl, but not that night. But its funny for a few months later, I fixed him up with a friend of mine, and they are happily married.
